I began taking classes in Tai Chi about 20 years ago in Buffalo, NY with a sensi who insisted on perfection. We relocated to Naples in 2000 and sought to find a Tai Chi class to no avail until Liz came to the Wellness Center. Her classes are the best! There is no pressure to be perfect, just to be aware of and to tap the energy we hold in our individual bodies, as well as what we can share with each other in class. It is a joyful experience.

I moved to the Naples area about nine months ago. I immediately started researching the best Pilates class here, as I take the class to prevent hip surgery. I joined Whitaker Wellness just so I could take your class. Thanks so much for your efforts!

Liz, I had a total hip replacement procedure on my left hip Monday and came home Wednesday. I am certain the conditioning in your Pilates class contributed to my overall fitness. Dr. Biggs said I had a 90% advantage over most patients because of my size and fitness level. It is amazing how much core strength helps in every situation, along with strong toned muscles.

My wife and I have been members of Liz's Tai Chi class for the last eight months and both thoroughly enjoy it. Within a month or so, I began to notice improvements in my balance, which continue to increase with each session. I now walk with much more confidence, and less fear of falling. Her class is the fastest 45 minutes we spend doing anything. We are both "seniors" and would recommend it highly to anyone.

I am 67 and my husband is 70. We have been taking your Tai Chi class seasonally for the last four years. We see the many benefits, such as lower blood pressure and deeper breathing. When I practice I no longer feel my fibromyalgia. What I really enjoy are the graceful moves. I feel these movements are as beautiful as ballet. Thank you Liz, for giving us your time and talent; you are so patient and accepting!

I am happy for this chance to report my successful Tai Chi experience. My principal improvement has been in balance, which I attribute directly to the Tai Chi experience, as well as just “feeling better”. You seem to find different muscles to “exercise”. I like your colorful outfits!

An absolutely unique class. Wonderful for flexibility and balance and taught in a manner that facilitates positive results even for first time participants.

Your class helped my flexibility and balance, and after a few months of the movements and breathing routines, I became aware of a spirit in the studio that boosted general well-being as well.

Exercise has always been part of my life. Now I am retired, still working part-time, and I can say that my Pilates classes with Liz keep me going. It does not exhaust me like the aerobic classes I used to take, it just makes me feel good and gives me the energy I need. I have taken Pilates classes with other teachers but was not as stimulated and inspired as I have been the last three years by Liz. Routine is not part of her vocabulary, and this is why her classes are packed and she is so popular. I hope she will continue teaching Pilates for as long as I can take her classes!

I enjoy your method of teaching. Tai Chi is not just an exercise program to work on balance and strength. It is a calming way of life. The slow movement and peaceful music has a wonderful effect on our busy days by making us focus on our inner self.

For me, your class is very relaxing and at the same time, a very good exercise. I brought a friend of mine, who has many physical problems including lots of aches and pains, and she was able to participate in the class and benefit from it. In fact, when she returned up north she immediately joined a Tai Chi class there.

I feel sooooo good when I finish a class and in a relatively short time my usually low blood pressure has gone even lower. I like the way you talk to us during the entire class telling us the benefit of the move we are doing, such as a massage of the organs or a stretch of the chest muscles. Otherwise how would one know of these benefits?
